STEP 1: Do Not Skip Moisturizer And Oils
I used to feel like I am not supposed to use moisturizers and oils cause they make me sweat and produce more oils. But I learned that the face needs oil too if you want to have the best makeup routine for oily skin.
When the surface of your skin is dry, it sends a signal to your oil glands and they start producing oil on your face. To that effect, you can use gel moisturizers.
Gel moisturizers are water-based lotions that are lightweight in texture and easily absorbed into the skin. They contain fewer emollients and oils than moisturizers that are cream-based.
Examples of Gel Moisturizers
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream Extra-Dry Skin: This gel moisturizer is been raved about in the beauty community. It is lightweight and has hyaluronic acid.
Also, it is hydrating and oil-free which makes it good for oily skin.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Pink Juice Moisturizer: This is another oil-free hydrating moisturizer. It also has hyaluronic acid, vitamin, and amino acid-rich watermelon extract.
Belif True Cream Aqua Bomb: From the name, you can already tell that this is a water-based moisturizer.
It is a weightless gel cream that instantly cools and refreshes skin while providing an explosion of intense hydration and is suitable for all skin types.
NOTE: Do not forget to use SPF it will help prevent skin cancer and prevent sunburn.

STEP 2. Apply A Mattifying Primer
This is a compulsory step for the best makeup routine for oily skin. A primer creates a layer between your makeup and your face, they help your makeup last longer. Depending on the primer you buy it can help smooth and even out your skin.

Step number 3 with is a key step or bonus to having the best makeup routine for oily skin is using a blotting powder or translucent powder.
